Applebaum Associates Inc was founded in 1982 by Lila Applebaum, when this visionary marketing consultant recognized the need for a specialized focus on developing marketing identities. Ms. Applebaum had gained invaluable experience at Lefkowith Inc., a large corporate communications firm based in New York City, and decided to strike out on her own. The age of branding was born. Within a few years she had found a worthy associate in Lynn Haviland who now serves as President. As work increased, Applebaum Associates developed into a small, tightly-knit team of dedicated professionals working together on every project — a formula still employed by Ms. Haviland. After opening offices in northern New Jersey and Manhattan, Applebaum Associates relocated to Nyack, NY, in 1992. Situated just 20 miles north of New York City on the banks of the Hudson River, this charming village is known for its antiques, great shops, restaurants, and eclectic mix of creative types. It provides convenient access to the tri-state region and international airports.
