Steel City Productions was founded in June of 2000. Located in Hollywood California, Steel City Productions is a digital video production company using state of the art camera and editing equipment. Paul Ballon left his job at DreamWorks- SKG to start a business of his own in digital video production. With a business degree from The University of Pittsburgh, Paul Ballon began his entertainment career working in the production departments of several feature films and television shows. After completing work for Fox, Disney and Touchstone Pictures, where he worked on Enemy of the State and Malcolm in the Middle, Paul then moved on to work at DreamWorks SKG as a post-production accountant. In addition to supervising the post-production unit at DreamWorks SKG, Paul oversaw the budgets for numerous feature films including, Castaway and Road Trip. It was in his role at DreamWorks SKG that Paul realized the possibility of creating his own production company. Paul moved on to create Steel City Productions. Steel City Productions has produced four television pilots, three public service announcements, several EPKs and music videos. Steel City Productions is currently developing new concepts for television.
