iCrossing, Inc. Company In Stock Futures Funds Directory
We started as a search engine marketing company in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1998, Jeffrey Herzog, our founder and CEO, realized the potential that search had to change the advertising landscape. His mission: to connect consumers with companies, services, products and brands while (unlike traditional advertising) quantifying the results. Within the next year we had 35 employees and had built worldwide relationships with leading international clients and traditional agencies. Our search marketing campaigns united customers with businesses everywhere. In the years that followed, we established a base of Fortune 500 clients, launched our first proprietary analytics tool, Interest2Action, and earned client accounts in every vertical market. We also expanded our product offerings in natural search, paid search and campaign analytics, and began working with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts across all properties and service offerings. We opened our second office in New York, establishing a “Madison Avenue” presence for search marketing. Media Magazine recognized us as one of the Top Interactive Agencies of the Year and Jeffrey Herzog, founder and CEO, was named as a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. By 2004, we had developed our stride. With 100 employees, we opened our third office in San Francisco and expanded the Scottsdale office to become headquarters. Search went mainstream, which brought us five Fortune 100 client accounts in addition to the 16 Fortune 500 clients on our roster, including an exclusive partnership with PR Newswire. In 2005, we launched our mobile search service offering and opened a Chicago office. We were recognized as a Top Interactive Agency by Adweek and MediaPost, and received a MIXX Award for Excellence in Search Engine Marketing. We were also named 2005 Agency of the Year: Best Search by OMMA Magazine and our CEO was selected by the Executive Council of New York as a New York Ten Awards™ winner, in recognition of his innovation and leadership. The year 2006 marked our sixth consecutive year of increased profitable revenue growth. We bolstered our executive team by hiring interactive industry veteran, Don Scales, as President and Chief Operating Officer, and added two new offices in Atlanta and Dallas. We expanded our work with PR Newswire into the mobile arena and continue to work with Fairmont Hotels to increase online reservations. We ended the year strong by building our Bay-Area presence and big brands – including Gap and LEGO – to our client roster through the acquisition of NewGate Internet, an industry leader in paid search for online retailers. We started 2007 by expanding our global presence. In February, we acquired Spannerworks, the leading search marketing firm in the U.K., leveraging our respective leadership in North America and Europe to create a global leader in search marketing. We launched a social media practice, combining the power of search marketing strategies with programs to influence consumer behavior, improve brand visibility and deliver results for our clients. In March 2007 we acquired Sharp Analytics, a leader in next-generation business intelligence solutions. By combining our industry-leading digital marketing services with Sharp Analytics’s proprietary marketing dashboard technology, SharpView, we are able to create fully-integrated business intelligence solutions that bridge the gap between online and offline data. Soon after, we continued our European expansion with the opening of our eighth office in London. In July 2007 we received an investment from Goldman, Sachs & Co., with additional investments from existing investors Oak Investment Partners, RRE Ventures and StarVest Partners L.P., to fuel our acquisition and organic growth strategy. We formed a digital marketing parent company, iCrossing Inc., to combine world-class digital marketing services with innovative digital marketing technologies to connect global brands with their customers. Today iCrossing is the flagship digital marketing agency of our parent company iCrossing Inc., with 550 employees in 12 offices worldwide. Our clients include Travelocity and 40 of the Fortune 500, such as The Coca-Cola Company, General Motors and Office Depot. While our roots are in search engine marketing, we have continued to expand our services to provide holistic digital marketing solutions that better meet the needs of our clients. We combine search, social media, market research, analytics and mobile services to create digital marketing programs designed to help global brands connect with their customers. As we – and the industry – have grown we know it’s not enough to simply optimize page code or run a paid media campaign. Success depends on integration of search marketing with web programs and overall marketing efforts. We can’t just drive traffic…we have to drive the right traffic through the right experience at the right time. We have to help customers find exactly what they are looking for, and take them through that entire experience, from a search trigger, to completed action. When customers find, our clients see results.
