Our business delivers useful, reliable, branded and easy to use financial evaluation, risk assessment and decision making tools simply and affordably. IC-FinEval was established in July 2000. It builds upon over 7 years of extensive financial modeling research carried out at Imperial College, London, especially at the Royal School of Mines (RSM) related to mining finance and mineral deposit evaluation. During this time, the research and expertise was distilled through continuing professional development courses presented to over 500 delegates from over 50 countries and resulted in the development of IC-MinEval, a software package for the financial evaluation of base, precious metal, gemstone coal and industrial mining projects. Industry response to IC-MinEval was overwhelming and so the IPR in IC-MinEval was transferred to IC-FinEval by Imperial College in exchange for an equity position. IC-MinEval has been available for over two years and now has a substantial worldwide client base of blue-chip financial institutions and mining houses, and is rapidly becoming the standard for mining project evaluation. It supports a number of training courses both in the UK and overseas.
